I’ve maintained web sites since way back in the day, so it’s only fitting that I should recently find a sweet 3-1/2-inch floppy disk of “Web Pages HTML.” This little artifact of the 1990s had a whopping 1.44 MB of storage.

A blog about music, pop culture, the Strokes, Jack White, and NYC at large.

Hah. I still have some old Zip disks somewhere with God knows what on them. If only I had a Zip drive. What HTML pages were on there? And do you still maintain these site from back in the day?
Oh man, I think I have some ZIP disks someone too! I have no idea which web pages were on here. They were probably from one of the 15 Broadway fan sites I maintained during my teenage years. I know at least a few of them are still available on Tripod.com, but unfortunately all the Geocities sites were erased in the great Geocities shuttering of 2009. 🙁 ::pixel tear::
