When he’s not dropping the hammer on the Air Force Reserve, Jack White keeps busy with a bevy of musical endeavors.
Quickly:
- Third Man released a limited Black Belles seven-inch, which features a song Jack penned for this new all-female group he put together.
- Jack recently signed a new band, Mildred and the Mice, which features female vocals from a woman that certainly looks a heck of a lot like his wife, Karen Elson (see below).
- The Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll (and recent Jack White collaborator), Wanda Jackson, will be performing in NY tomorrow at the Knitting Factory.

Yes, I’ve had a little work done. I’ve been meaning to redesign the site for a really long time, but this time I actually did it. I’m quite pleased with the results.
I think the site looks cleaner, more colorful, and has a bit more personality.
The colors were inspired by this book cover designed by Paul Rand, and the design is a modified version of Fluid Blue.
Of course, the Obligatory Jack White Photo remains on the page, this time placed in the top right corner. Wave to everyone, Jackie!
Hope you enjoy the new look!

So I didn’t wake up today and say to myself, “Dude, you should totally be a paparazzi specializing in CW stars,” but it seems as though I ended up being one today… I just happen to spot almost all the major players in the cast of Gossip Girl! I was walking around the tent for Diane von Furstenberg at Bryant Park today and all of a sudden out the corner of my eye I saw a girl wearing yellow, and then a herd of people instantly swarming around her and her friend.
Walking closer, I recognized Miss Leighton Meester! I snapped a few photos, and then only later did I realize that the other girl accompanying her was none other than Jessica Szohr!

Yes, we know that this year’s Pool Parties have pretty much been kicking butt–but do you really have to rub it in our faces how popular you are, JELLYNYC?

Please get the site back up and running so I can see the latest love letter to someone spotted at the pool.
