I’m a little sad after seeing a preview for the new season of the Rachel Zoe Project — it seems as though her delightfully frosty-haired abrasive assistant Taylor Jacobson has left not only the show, but the Zoe and Co.

Interweb searches reveal that La Taylor is still kicking it on Twitter @taylorjacobsonn, blogging the “Love Taylor” blog for Everyday Minerals, and working for Kasil.

As for why Tay separated from employment at Rachel Zoe, gossip columns can only speculate. Was she fired for stealing clothes, or did she simply leave? Guess we’ll just have to wait for the bombshell to drop on an upcoming episode of the Bravo show…

Am I the only one who’s been kinda bummed out by Lea Michele‘s diva-esque attitude of late? Last night on Jimmy Fallon she seemed overly hyper and a little self-important:

Then today I read about her make-out session with emo-looking boyfriend Theo Stockman (currently in the Greenday Broadway musical, American Idiot) during the Time 100 gala where she basically told legendary party photographer Patrick McMullan to eff off. Not feeling it, Lea! You don’t hear about Idina Menzel throwing down attitude like that! Boo hiss.

OMG: This just in! Two members of well-known Detroit musical families are about to combine! Miss Meg White, best known as the drummer of The White Stripes is set to marry fellow Detroit resident Jackson Smith on May 22 in Nashville, TN.

Mr. Jackson Smith is the son of rockers Patti Smith and Fred (Sonic) Smith (MC5) and is the guitarist in the was the guitarist in the recently disbanded Detroit group Back in Spades.

According to the Detroit Free Press the couple became close with one another last summer and currently live together in Meg’s house in Detroit and were engaged several weeks ago.

But why would a couple who is so rooted in The D choose Nashville as the wedding site? Privacy issues are rumored to be the reason. However, the couple plans to have a reception in Detroit soon after getting hitched.

Miss Megan White was formerly married to White Stripes band mate Jack White for approximately four years, until they divorced in 2000. He remarried by wedding model Karen Elson in June of 2005.

Ok, ladies. So we lost newly married Ryan Adams, but it looks like the dating world has gained back another New York-based musician.

According to New York Magazine‘s Jada Yuan, the romance between Albert Hammond Jr. and model Agyness Deyn has officially ended.

The couple in happier, more photoshoot-y times.

Yuan reports that it was soon after posing for a Valentine’s Day Vogue pictorial that they started drifting apart.

According to the article the two remain friends.

Mandy Moore’s rep has confirmed to E! News that she and Ryan Adams are currently engaged…you know, TO BE MARRIED.

Who knew that everyone’s favorite perma-bachelor had it in him to be prepared to tie the knot…however, he is the enternal romantic, and he DID just release an EP titled “Extra Cheese.”

…Still a little part of me just died.

On Friday night, famed punk rock legend Debbie Harry performed at a tribute to Stephen Sprouse, hosted by Louis Vuitton at the Bowery Ballroom. That alone is pretty amazing, but what Debbie revealed when she stepped on stage is more amazing.

Looks like girlfriend had a little work done for 2009, because Harry’s face was definitely looking a bit more youthful than it had in recent years. Check out her brand new visage:

Hey there- On Friday night I was taking the F train downtown from 14th Street with a friend. As we walked down the platform, we heard some music playing a familiar song (“Ceremony” by Joy Division), and my friend joked, “Oh look it’s [name REDACTED] playing!” I went to go look who it was, I said, “It’s definitely was not [name REDACTED]….but I do know who that is!” Turns out it was, [name REDACTED]! I couldn’t believe it. The last time [band name REDACTED] played New York, their shows were completely sold out. Guess he was just working out some skillz.

So I didn’t wake up today and say to myself, “Dude, you should totally be a paparazzi specializing in CW stars,” but it seems as though I ended up being one today… I just happen to spot almost all the major players in the cast of Gossip Girl! I was walking around the tent for Diane von Furstenberg at Bryant Park today and all of a sudden out the corner of my eye I saw a girl wearing yellow, and then a herd of people instantly swarming around her and her friend.

Walking closer, I recognized Miss Leighton Meester! I snapped a few photos, and then only later did I realize that the other girl accompanying her was none other than Jessica Szohr!

Then an hour or so later, I stopped by the Nederlander Theater (the home of the Broadway cast of RENT) for one last pass. (Today was the last performance of the show on the Great White Way. RENT RIP!)

As I’m standing there I hear people shouting “Luther! Luther!”…as in Luther Creek, a replacement ensemble member of the Bway cast of RENT who was infamous for having the worst “Mark” known to man. As everyone was screaming “Luther! Luther!” I noticed a pretty blonde walking toward him and realized it was none other than Blake Lively wearing a cropped black leather jacket and awesome wedges that had straps snaking up her foot. When I took a moment to stop staring at her perfectly wavy hair, I noticed the shlubby guy next to her was boyfriend and co-start Penn Badgley. Michelle Hurd, who plays Laurel was also there. Who knew they were theater fans?!?!

Original cast members Jesse L. Martin, Daphne Rubin Vega, Anthony Rapp, Wilson J. Heredia, Byron Utley, Freddie Walker showed up to the final performance. Past RENT alum like Jay Rodriguez, Frenchie Davis also appeared and random folks like Chris from Project Runway.

It’s Wednesday, which means two things: 1. A new episode of Project Runway and 2. Ryan Adams has a new website.

Leading off with a quote from the Buddah (“Doubt Everything. Find Your Own Light.”), this newest reincarnation of “Ryan minus Adams dot com” includes an abstract Cardinals logo, and prominent links to the Humane Society, Tibet.org, and the official site of Ram Daas.

In the upper right corner is a link to a “Personal Statement” where Ryan waxes philosophical about how he’s been working very hard, and hopes that his artistic endeavors speak for him. In addition to that, he reveals the following:

i’ve realized and accepted that if people decide to dislike me, they’re going to find reasons to justify disliking me. there’s nothing i can do about that. that said, it still does pain me to be accused of fictional crimes against innocents or to be implicated in romantic gossip involving the possibly reality-challenged–however unreliable the source or outlandish the accusations. in the end, however, i know that i have never done or even meant anyone any harm.

…which is surely a response to a recent diatribe by perennial crazy-person Courtney Love, where she accuses Ryan of stealing $858,000 from her daughter Francis Bean’s trust fund as a result of charging expenses to the recording of “Rock ‘n’ Roll.” (Funnily enough, in the midst of her crazy rant, Courtney does make a valid point–”Rock ‘n’ Roll” is probably one of Ryan’s worst albums EVER–”Demolition” aside.)

these days i find myself working harder than ever at being at my best, overcoming my fears and pushing myself creatively in my every endeavor. my only wish after the work is completed is that it may prove further evidence that no matter how isolated we all may all feel at times, as sad or misrepresented, we are not alone. there’s hope for and within each of us.
