I'm living in Boston now and enjoying it, but those free shows at Castle Clinton were one of my favorite things about summer in New York. And Annie is awesome. Great post. The intimacy and history of the venue made me feel very small in such a big city, and then the beautiful set ensued. Annie is adorable, and absolutely shreds her guitar. I was pleasantly surpirsed with the horn section, and the rest of the band is awesome. I hope St. Vincent tours more throughout NYC (I'll gladly pay for my tickets) so more people can see how great they are. The show, venue, and vibe were outstanding.
