Yes I’ve totally fallen off the face of the earth. I got some awful flu-like virus thing and have been off the email and the internet for the past few days. Hope to kinda catch up this weekend and not slip on ice/snow.
I realize the links of the day have been totally CRAPOLA and my RSS seems to be on the fritz. Dear lord, this site is falling apart. If anyone wants to volunteer their services to help this hovel, let me know.
If it makes you feel any better, my kitchen has been pretty clean these days.

Little did I realize that while I was watching Just My Luck last night on HBO that I would be checking out Lindsay Lohan’s naked breasts the very next day. It seems as though someone at New York magazine had the brilliant idea to let photographer Bert Stern recreate his famous Marilyn Monroe “The Last Sitting” photo shoot using La Lohan in place of the legendary blonde bombshell.
There are a few things that make me sad about this photo essay:
1. I hate seeing photographers who have done some amazing work in the bast totally biting off their own sh-t as they get older. Bert Stern has totally jumped the shark.
2. Whereas Marilyn looked like a beautiful mess in her photo shoot, Lindsay Lohan just looks like a mess in the obviously fake platinum wig, and a haggard looking face.
3. I’m not interested in seeing Lindsay’s boobs EVER AGAIN. It just seems so… desperate. Trying to be Marilyn + boobs + bad wig = disaster.

TV dreamboat cum “emo” rocker Jared Leto has been out and about in Europe sporting a brand new ‘do, much to the amazement of fans and celeb hounds alike.
In this case pictures DO speak a thousand words. No adjectives under the sun could begin to explain the breathtaking photo of the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman I’m about to show you.

Lily Allen made an appearance at the Luella Bartley show in London today sporting jet black hair, dark liquid liner around her eyes, and dark purple lips. Although I’m not such a fan of the look (nor of the sheer and flowered frock” she was donning) but it’s good to see her out with a smile.

Hey everyone, I’m back from my mini-break (I’ll post photos later), but I just happen to catch Conan last night and saw that The Kooks will be playing the show tonight! Hooray!

The Kooks will premiere a new track, “Always Where I Need To Be” from their forthcoming album, “KONK” on Late Night With Conan OBrien tonight, February 14th, at 12:35am EST (11:35pm CST) on NBC.
Having sold over 100,000 copies of their debut ‘Inside In/Inside Out’ in the US, as well as selling out every US tour to date, The Kooks just played a few intimate gigs for fans in Los Angeles and Brooklyn in anticipation of their next album. Their sophomore effort, ‘KONK’, will be released state-side on April 15th, 2008 via Astralwerks. Stay tuned for the announcement of their biggest US tour to date.
I was kinda bummed that I missed them in NYC two nights ago (I had just gotten into the city at 6:30 and then I went to dinner at Babbo for my birthday–RETARDED DELICIOUS, BTW–plus the snow, plus I was in no way going to make it to Brooklyn.), but now I’ll get to see them in some capacity.

As those AT&T Blackberry Valentine’s Day commercials featuring Ryan Adams keep telling me, “it’s only gonna make you love me more.” Perhaps that’s the message budding auteur D.R. Adams was trying to tell us by deleting his YouTube account.
Gone are the genius videos of RyRy stomping around to metal music in sky-high hooker boots. Gone are his videos lamenting his break-up with Jessica Joffe. (Jack White could have told him a thing or two about the trouble with lovin’ red-haired women.) And gone are his most recent additions, devoted to the love of Rodarte and Fashion Week.
Now all we have left are the memories, and these photos of Ryan KILLING UP A FASHION STORM during NYC Fashion Week:

The White Stripes are pleased to announce the release of “Conquista”, a Spanish language version of their current hit “Conquest”. The single will be released on CD and 7″ vinyl in the U.S on February 19th and in the U.K shortly after.
The release will appear credited to Las Rayas Blancas and comes with the following track listing:
1 or A. Conquista
2 or B. Conquest (Versión Acústica De Mariachi)“Conquista” comes replete with its own Spanish language version of the Diane Martel video. The “Conquista” video will premiere on Mun2s The Shuffle on Thursday Feb 7th, along with an exclusive interview with Jack White. It will be aired again on Pepsi Música on Mun2 on Friday February 8th.
This sounds pretty awesome. Who wouldn’t want to hear Jack singing en espanol? Could the White Stripes do a reverse Shakira?
