According to various sources, including NME.com, pop singer Lily Allen has confirmed she has suffered a miscarriage.

Allen’s rep released the following statement: “We can confirm that Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage. She and her partner Ed Simons will be making no further comment and we ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.”

Lily announced in December that she was pregnant by her boyfriend, Ed Simons of the Chemical Brothers.
