This whole idea of "tearing apart classic albums" is pretty bizarre. Even if they're not the best album by the artist, they're still better albums than most other albums released every year. And this man's complaint is that the Strokes don't sound serious enough? I suppose then that he would prefer bands like My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Panic at the disco, and all the other laughable emo bands that take themselves so seriously. Before the Strokes rock music was stuck in a 90's slump (Nickelback anyone?) and if it wasn't for them and the Libertines, music would be in much worse shape than it is today– after all, the White Stripes can't do everything.
