umm cool??

Jay June 19, 2007 at 12:20 pm

Connor is an obvious idiot. Connie sings like an angel. Her voice is pure gold, straight from Heaven.

Michael June 19, 2007 at 10:46 pm

For Connor (who thinks he can write)…lt’s ‘can’t’ not ‘cant’, and ‘thinks’ not ‘think.’

Also, don’t end your sentences with more than one exclaimation point or question mark.

As for Connie, Jay said it best!

I hope she tours America so I can see her here.

deathstone July 10, 2007 at 12:42 am

Nope. She lost to a handphone salesman named Paul Potts who sang opera.

She is a small child. Yes she is talented, but please let her be a child – although I fear we may well have another “Connie Who” story six months down the line, anyway, the public are so fickle. They’ll probably forget all about her. Somewhat undeservedly, as I’d like to see her again in ten years time.

Quite rightly, she didn’t win, Paul Potts is far more talented, and will become/has become a major world star. However, comparing the two is difficult – one can quickly tire of childish piping voices singing cute ballads, Paul is naturally far more versatile.

I am from the Philippines and I’ve watched Connie sing in the youtube.com for more than 20 times and each time my tears would fall as if an angel from heaven is singing.
No doubt she’ll be a star shining brightly.

thing is that i could sing better than this at her age – she puts on a warble and is in tune – the warble does not naturally come from her voice – does not constitute talent!

Connie’s CD entered the UK album chart last Monday at #35, It went Gold a few days later. Connie’s fach (voice type) is young child, a common type but not among good singers. When Connie adds her muscianship and emotions to that voice it’s compelling. Hear the music http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7j8NhBtnpw

Well… the girl has potential. But personally I think she can’t sing fantasticly. Too much stutter for one; not an angels voice…

Connie Talbot has a brilliant little voice I’m just listening to her on my ipod and she’s a delight. YES she can sing. I think her parent’s have got it right and as long as she’s enjoying what she’s doing so well she won’t need pushing cos she’s doing what she loves! Well done
Her pitch is quite amazing as well as her control.
