i consider myself neutral in this respect, just because I’m italian, i live in italy, therefore I’m out of it.
I can’t say i LOVE the hipster culture, basically because is all on the surface, there’s no real cultural revolution under those hoodies, there’s just a fashion trend that includes being overly (and annoyingly) alternative or fakely picky.
BUT i think that if alternative music can breath, if underground art can find places in museums, it’s mostly due to this kids, that may not understand or really like the half of it, may go to that exibition or that gig just because it’s oh, so cool!, but somehow, they make it happen.
