The hilariousness and ubiquity of “Dear Sister” has permanently imprinted this SNL “Digital Short” in my mind. And now, like an indie rock Angel of Death, every time I hear the now-infamous snippet of the song “Hide and Seek” by Imogen Heap, I think about someone dying a melodious slow-mo demise.

So now whenever I’m frustrated or mad at someone (namely, the Backseat Blogger when he wants me to blog about something stupid), all I have to do is fast forward to the last 1:35 minutes of the song and press play. All of a sudden I’m at peace, and everything in the world is right. Try it, you’ll agree.

This makes me very very VERY sad…. Blake from American Idols sings “Tim McGraw song, ‘When the Stars Go Blue‘.”

ARUGHHHH!!

After you listen to how poorly he sings it, you can assume Ryan is dry heaving x10. Talk about insult to injury.

Check out the real deal. Beautiful, beautiful!:

Check out Ryan and the band performing “Goodnight Rose”, off Easy Tiger–Ryan’s upcoming album, on the Henry Rollins Show, airing this week on the IFC channel. Oh sweet sweet music! And oh sweet sweet return of the Batman tshirt…and a Ghostbusters pin?!?!
