The production of one liter bottle of Fiji water uses 26 times more water than the bottle contains. Twenty-six! The production also consumes almost one kilogram of fossil fuel, and emits over one pound of CO2.

I demand a retraction! If you kept reading, MM, you’d see that the post actually retracts the 26x figure and places the “real” number closer to 7 times. Not that it makes it excusable, but the original claim was heartily inaccurate. Word.
