Chris looks like my 22 year old son’s identical twin. It’s incredibly uncanny. The hair, shape of his face, facial hair, body, clothing style, sweet, sweet smile, personality, etc., and our son sings like an angel as well. My husband and I feel like we’re watching our young man up there on the stage every week. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that he make it all the way, as well as our votes!! The judges keep knocking Chris down, and putting up Blake on a pedestal. Chris sang a better ballad (during the 60′s episode) than Blake did (during the Gwen Stefanie episode). Why do the judges, especially Simon, criticize those who do not step outside the genre/theme for the week? Voice coach says “do it this way” but Simon says “why did you do it this way?” Chris sang beautifully from the heart (with commercial appeal) — even without the outside-the-box “beat box” schtick.
