HOW I HEARD ABOUT THEM: I was reading this Guardian article about them.
LATEST RELEASE: They don’t have any releases–they’ve only been a band since August 2006. They have a yet to be named single that’s going to be released on Mute Records imprint, Mute Irregular.
SONG LISTENED TO: “What You Say”
WHAT THEY SOUND LIKE: I’m blown away by the fact that their sound is so complete given the fact that most of the band members range from age 13 to 15. That’s right, the oldest member is FIFTEEN YEARS OLD. Singer Faith Barker is only 13, but her voice sounds twice as old. Midtempo pop rock, there’s the occasional Nirvana guitar riff rip-off, but altogether very impressive given their young age. Curious to see what they start dishing out 5 years from now after their old enough to get into some real trouble…
