SeamlessWeb = The Best Thing Since Netflix?

I just discovered this web site today, SeamlessWeb. I found it because one of my favorite cheap eats, Why Curry?, had their flyer inside their store. It’s a site where you can find a listing of all the restaurants in your area that will deliver to your address. You pay online directly (you can even include tip) with a credit card.

The site will highlight all the restaurants that are currently open and delivering, so there’s no trying to figure out what’s open and what’s not. Also many restaurants offer discounts to your order by ordering on the web site… not that you really need 20% off of a Blue 9 Burger order, but hey–every little bit counts during this holiday season.

Happy eating and ordering!

PS- Apparently corporations love Seamless Web.

I love Seamless Web but hate the name. Could they have picked a name further from the idea of “food” and “delivery”? Sounds like a product or marketing slogan from Cisco.

I love SeamlessWeb too. They have a bunch of programs for poor students like me. Aside from the discounts mentioned above, I’ve earned $40 of food credit in friend referrals. That should keep me in chicken wings for a while.

yeah i hate that name too but whatever… the best thing about seamless web is if anything goes wrong when you order, your can call them and their customer service will take care of everything- even get the price of your meal credited if the restaurant totally f’ed up. it’s like my favorite site besides this one.

Neat, although I use Delivery.com myself. Seems the two cover pretty much the same ground.

Delivery dot com sucks. SeamlessWeb is so much easier to use, has more restaurants, and they value my security.

I ordered from Delivery dot com once and my credit card info was printed right on the receipt! This could be abused by restaurant employees, anyone who chances upon the receipt in transit, or in the garbage. That’s got to be illegal!
