Evelyn H. Lauder and Elizabeth Hurley will be signing copies of the new cookbook In Great Taste, today at Bloomingdale’s from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Designer Collections on the 4th Floor.
PS- Liz Hurley didn’t write the book, Evelyn Lauder did. Liz is just randomly going to sign a bunch of cookbooks she didn’t write and I guess try to hawk some Estee Lauder cosmetics.
Gotta make this one a quicky right now. Ok, I so I missed the season premiere of America’s Next Top Model, but tonight I saw Sondre Lerche play Hiro Ballroom instead. It was cool because it was a seated show–yeah, that’s right, seated–which I’d never experienced before. He mainly did songs from the Duper Sessions, and his two previous albums. He did do 2 songs off his new album, Phantom Punch, and he played for almost 2 hours.
He has one other show tomorrow night at Hiro, so you should definitely check it out. He’s been playing some songs he hasn’t played in a long time, like “Don’t Be Shallow”. Ah oldies but goodies.

Tickets to The Killers show at Webster Hall on Friday went on general sale at 12 noon today. As of 12:05, Ticketweb has no available tickets left when you do a web search.
Will you be there?
I just searched again and got an order screen come up, but a second later a refresh revealed no more…
Oh Ticketweb, you and your silly games!
If you don’t want to know what any of the final four’s collections look like, do not proceed after the jump.
On a side note, I happen to be shopping in NoLita on Saturday and stopped by the EMC2 event where Tim Gunn was signing bobbleheads and the Project Runway former cast members were puttering around. The line was respectable around 12:30, but when I walked by about an hour later it was ridiculous! The Bravo cameras were also there filming for who knows what.

Now to rip this year’s fashion show apart…

Aussie bag company Crumpler is having its first ever Art Bag Auction here in NYC. They are having two parties: one to open, September 21st, and another to close the event, September 24th.
The artists involved have designed one-of-a-kind high fashion messanger bags to be auctioned with all of the money going to Art Start and Like the Spice.
I myself have a Crumpler camera bag, and I absolutely love it. Their stuff is so well-made and looks good. Highly recommended.
