Editors @ Cornerstone Offices

Tom Smith and Chris Urbanowicz of Editors performed a three song acoustic set at Cornerstone Promotion offices today before running over to their gig at Irving Plaza. It was hot as hell, but the pizza was delicious. Songs played were “All Sparks”, “Bullets” (aka- the “American version” of “Munich”), and “Bones”.

Here’s a photo of the lads:

It’s been a while since I’ve seen Editors, so you can imagine how surprised I was when Tom walked into the offices with a crazy Chris Martin fro and the DEEPEST TAN I have EVER seen on a former pale British person. Did he go to Cancun or something? He was BROWN. Don’t get me wrong, it was a great, natural looking tan, but I dunno…there’s something inherently weird about a Brit with a golden complexion.

it’s “all sparks”….. not “sparks”

and it’s “burns”…… not “bones”

They introduced the second song as Munich and the last one as Bones. Confusing.

yeah, i was almost certain he said “bones.” but i was born in cleveland, so… you know.

Yes it’s definitely Bones, you were right the first time.

I thought he said “Bones”, too.

You left out the best part of the event: a near-limitless supply of Guiness.
