Embarrassing Admission of the Day: I Love APA
So… uh.. did you know that a while back I requested to be MySpace “friends” with Ashley Parker Angel? Yes that’s right… former O-Town-er APA, and star of his own reality show on MTV whatever it was called. I kinda love APA, and although his TV show as a little unwatchable at times, I loved him and thought he had a winning personality.
How did I not realize that he is touring with Ashlee Simpson? So it’s the ASHLEY + ASHLEE tour!??! That is genius marketing right there. I just looked it up and they are playing Jones Beach on July 23rd. If you happen to work for whatever label those people are on, please let me know.
In any case APA is playing ROOSEVELT FIELD MALL at 5:45 on Friday, August 11th on Long Island. I think that sounds amazing.

i think it’s ok for people to like a wide variety of things…some people are obsessed with Delta blues music by musicians that have been dead for 50 years, i’m totally fascinated by contemporary teen culture. i can’t really explain why, but i’m a little tired of having to defend myself all the time for liking the stuff i do. i’ve always been a HUGE pop music fan… i guess my only crime is getting older.
