Greenday: Saving Lives and Resurrecting 1970s Punk?

Check out the following story:

A 12-year-old British girl was cleaning up the family garden when she found a round, metal object. She quickly realized it was a hand grenade, recognizing the item from the illustration on the cover of Greenday’s American Idiot album.

And according to the article, “Green Day single-handedly resurrected 1970s punk.”

Next the band plans on solving world hunger and global warming.
