While dispensing vital dating advice to Jane, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz made the following comment:

People meeting on MySpace, I think it’s just the most terrible way to get to know somebody.

Oh, and for the record, Pete prefers “chance encounters”…let’s just hope not of the George Michael kind. Hey, he’s kinda halfway there, don’t you think?

    MySpace can be either a good thing or a bad thing, it all depends on how you use it.
    98% of the people I talk to on there are people that I know, went to school with or met on a holiday etc etc.
    Its a really good way to keep in touch with friends and ‘express’ yourself, again it all comes down to how stupid you are, meaning whether you put too intimate stuff on there.
    Obviously only post what you want people to know, but be sensible!
    As for Pete, he rocks, he’s cool, he hot but why do people hang on every word he says? Yeah he’s smart and talks sense but some people really need to learn the difference between opinion and intelligence.
