If I didn't love her so much, I may not have forgiven her for this catastrophe of a sentence.

S. E., it's not really feasable writing about intelligence of a certain person while her song in the background goes "i keep my shit.." and "fuck this fuck that." It is what it is :)

M.I.A. spent most of her life in London, and she attended an art school there and hung out with Elastica. It's hard for me to believe she would not have a better command of the English language. That is why I can only think that a)she does not run the myspace page and some idiot is pretending to be her, b)she is trying to write like she talks ... for some reason, i could see Sean Paul doing that, too, and it seems like it would be an act of some sort, or c)she really does have some sort of dyslexia that makes it hard for her to write sometimes.

I would never, never, never trust a MySpace page, though. I like her music so I am probably biased, but I still would wait until an official source says that she was barred from America. Nothing official has been said about the matter.

Allowed in the US or not, MIA is completely talentless. It's good that asians need role models to look up to but the British are retarded to think this is music - she must have won the lottery or something....

"that retarded message pretty much convinced to never listen to her music"

Name-calling is such a sign of intelligence. Also, you forgot a word in your sentence:

"that retarded message pretty much convinced [ME] to never listen to her music"

Your retarded message convinced [me/other people] to never listen to your opinion.

1) There have been a large number of talented artists whom have problems in other subjects--i.e. creative intelligence ≠mechanical intelligence [if you do not know what that symbol (those two dashes with the line cutting diagonally) is, it means "not equal to"].

2) Albert Einstein was awful at/in school. Yes! One of the mose influential geniuses himself!

3) Before you discredit any person for some online stupidity, you ought to check out what you are branding and/or condemning for yourself.

4) Different strokes for different people.

5) It embarrasses me to think that a fellow American would judge another person without meeting, or knowing, anything about that individual. If the person is not doing you any harm, do you really need to do something mean to them. Herein comes the age-old adage/proverb/bible quote, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Oh, I am so proud to say that, by living in the same country as folk like you, we are kin. Not.

Intolerance, like what I have just seen here makes me sick to my stomach, and only further proves my hypothesis that our country is riddled with the disease called ignorance more than any other.
