Thanks for the tip. I was lucky to get tickets just now. I really hope they don’t consider this their “small club” show.

pre-sale sold out. seems tickets went on sale at 3pm yet the strokes mailout notification was sent after 5pm. did anyone else – who wasn’t reading TMA throughout the day – have the same problem?

Actually, it turns out the Go Station is playing under the fake name The Strokes.

What a hose…

thanks for posting the login and password to the strokes presale site so every stupid person that thinks julian’s hot can be sure to get their tickets. people that are on their email list got the email and it was supposed to be semi exclusive and confidential.

adrienne January 18, 2006 at 7:00 pm

same with me. I got my email at 5:33. So much for the fans who care getting the information first.

FYI, I contacted the Strokes manager and he was aware of the delay and apologized for the screw up. The exact time of the public sale is still TBD.

i’m on their email list too and i’ve gotten screwed SO many times before with presales emails it’s not even funny. i was just trying to help people out. you realize this site is called “the modern age” for a reason, no?

….I went to the concert and I fought through the crowd…

They could do a Ticketmaster presale, as well, to make up for it. (Although I did get tickets thanks to the RSS feed of BrooklynVegan.com – and their sources)
