The Candy Cane Children have been going wild over these new photos from the “The Denial Twist” CD single which depict a black and white-clad Jack kneeling next to a raccoon he appears to have killed with his bicycle. There are two covers for the 7″, an alternate version of the “Jack Killed ‘Coon” picture and an adorable shot of Meg holding a portable record player with the raccoon listening to the music through headphones.
Am I the only one who is slightly curious if the raccoon may have come from (or ended up in) Jack’s taxidermy collection?
Anyway, the b-side is a cover of “Shelter of Your Arms.” Lookin’ good…

Actually, I believe the b-side is “Shelter of Your Arms”, a cover of the Greenhornes original that is on their recent EP East Grand Blues.

Poor Jack he was too ashamed to show off his blinding white chicken legs.
