Here’s a prediction: Tomorrow’s New York Times will feature an Arts & Leisure article written by Jon Pareles about how much he hates Coldplay. He will refer to them as “the decade’s most
insufferable band.” It will be on the front page, left-hand column. I will cry upon seeing this and curse Jon Pareles’s name for the rest of the day.
