We Went to the Armory Show and All We Got Were these Stupid Pictures
This weekend we spent more than 5 hours walking through the Armory Show. Julian Opie is our new favorite artist. You know, the guy who did the “Best of Blur” cover. He had a dancing go-go girl (see above) and 4 pale blue/lavendar landscapes represented at the show.
Another great piece we saw was by Frenchie, Peter Zimmermann, who uses epoxy resin on canvas. We spied a couple checking out the work we have pictured way in the begining of the day. By the time we made a lap around Pier 90, the work had been taken down and wrapped up. Guess they really liked it a lot.
