Birthday and More

Yesterday we saw an awesome Chicago band called The Redwalls at the Mercury Lounge. We will talk more about them later this week.

Also tomorrow I’m celebrating my birthday at my friend Audrey’s weekly rock party, ATOMIQUE. It takes place at Eleven (152 Orchard St. between Stanton and Rivington) and starts at 10pm.

Usually it’s held in the downstairs lounge, but due to renovations, we’re moving on up to the upstairs lounge which is bigger and fancier!

Special guest DJ is Nick Catchdubs, hot off his joint with M.I.A. at the Knitting Factory, and I will be spinning pop and Detroit rock sometime during the night.

Beers and Well Drinks 1/2 off for the first 2 hours. NO COVER.

glad to see the ‘walls getting a little attention outside of chicago. i remember seeing them when they were basically a beatles cover act that had to hide in their dressing room before going on stage becasue they were all underage.

    cute kids with cute songs.
