Distance Makes the Heart Grow Fonder
What’s been up with our absence from all the hot events this weekend? (Like Doug’s bday, Niki’s bday, Two Gallants/Dirty on Purpose/Rogue Wave at Mercury Lounge, M.I.A. at Knitting Factory with our man Nick Catchdubs, Jarvis Cocker and M.I.A. DJing at MisShapes, and all the Super Bowl parties going on–like the anti-Bowl party at Pianos tomorrow.) It’s because we just got 3 wisdom teeth removed this morning and we can’t feel half of our face. Why only 3? Because apparently we don’t have a fourth wisdom tooth. Are we freaks or something?
They gave us a prescription for Vicodin and no you can’t have any.
Back to sleep for now, but we should awake for our birthday party this Thursday at ATOMIQUE at Eleven on Orchard Street and Rivington. Nick Catchdubs (see above) will be spinning. The joint starts at 10pm and there will be that blue light special free drinks every 1 1/2 hours thing.
