Someone Reportedly Got Hitched, but It Ain’t Julian

Brownstoner is not only reporting that Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi has decided to move to Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, but that he’s also married to Amanda deCadenet. WHAT?!?!?!? Is that even true? Is this a really late April Fool’s joke? Link found via Gawker via Kiran.

    Sorry, guys. It’s starting to look like we relied on some bad Internet info on that marriage reference. The house purchase, which was the point of the original post, is independently reported and true. Sorry to set off such a Cyber storm over this.

    Well, Amanda was with Nick at the Ramones Cancer Benefit show at the Spirit Club. And I believe that was on October 8th.
