Sigur Rós have spraypainted a mural on a wall in laugavegur, the main shopping
street in reykjavík. the wall is located next to the band’s favourite record
store in reykjavík, hljómalind. when ágætis byrjun came out in 1999, the band
displayed a huge wooden carving of one of the angel drawings from the album,
which they had carved and painted themselves.
