The Walkmen are in the May 2002 issue of The Face… page 48 or something like that. Eminem on the cover.

One of my Magazine Editing professors was talking to this other student and the end of class, and they were talking about music and he goes “Yeah, I’ve been listening to …Trail of Dead. I just keep putting it on!” I was horrified. Maybe because he’s *like* old, you know? He’s like, you know, a teacher.

Abby just called Jimmy Eat World “Jimmy Eat Less” because that dude Jim is- ok, he’s not fat but it’s just fun to say he is.

Jenn made me listen to some tunes off of the new Adam Green cd… and as much as it pains me to say it, I really really like the track called “Dance With Me.” It’s got a very catchy beat. The other stuff is ‘aight.

FREE ICE CREAM!!!

FREE ICE CREAM!
FREE ICE CREAM!

I was sitting in my room trying to do work and stuff then all of a sudden I hear on a bullhorn, “FREE ICE CREAM!! FREEEEEEEEEE IIIICCCCEEEE CREEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAM!” Yeah. I live near a Ben and Jerry’s and now they are playing outside with electric instruments- singing “The Flavor Song”… yes, a song about ice cream flavors… singing Guns ‘n’ Roses, Beatles, singing “Get Ur Freak On.” When I was out there, someone requested “Freebird.” It was cute the first 5 minutes- now it’s just fucking annoying. Damnit. But I got some free ice cream, so hey- whatever!

Aw. It’s so nice to see the Gallaghers fighting with Damon Albarn once again- this time they use the choice word of “cuntfuck” to describe him. Lovely.

I must have linked them before, because why else did I find them in my horribly organized mush of bookmarks? But anyways, No Rock&Roll Fun is a good read. Sometimes it’s a little tough to get through, but all in all good times. Enjoy.

Free All Angels finally gets it’s US release on Kinetic Records- June 25. Yeah Ash!

Hey! I just found another one of you peeps on Nerve. WTF? Why is everyone on here? OK- I’m not laughing at all of you, but I’m laughing at some of you, and that’s enough amusement for me.

I was inspired by Kate’s “trolling” of the Nerve profiles and did a quick search of my own. And unlike Kate, within 5 minutes of searching I actually found people I know. HAHAHahha. I could go ahead and make fools of y’all, but I won’t. So anyone reading this that knows me and has a Nerve profile, I’m laughing at you RIGHT NOW. Even if you don’t think it’s you I’m laughing at- oh yeah, it’s totally YOU. (Or maybe I’m just faking you out… oOOOhh!)

Go ahead and contact me via AIM and test the waters to see if it’s you I’m talking about… or allow me to divulge the identities of those I’ve found. We’ll giggle about it together. And it must be on AIM, because it’s really hard to laugh about this together via email.
