I’ve been totally inspired by the Pity The Fool chronicles that I’m thinking of starting my own- Right Side style. I’m gonna try to stop by the toy store tomorrow and pick something out- frankly whatever is cheap and makes me laugh will win. I am open for suggestions as to what I should buy. Granted, I will not be buying the 15″ Bart Simpson doll because I think it’s too large to carry. So yeah.. maybe a Harry Potter doll? I dunno. I gotta say, Pokemon looks tempting. So does Canadian Barbie. I think the Christina Aguilera doll is a little too frightening. And I don’t know enough about S Club 7 to find this funny… although the irony of getting a picture of James w/ an S Club doll might be worth it. What do you think? I also might be far to lazy to go and do this and forget the whole thing.

March looks like it’s shaping up to be one of the ugliest concert months my little body will see in a long time (you know.. until April). What’s the big deal, you may inquire? March is Starsailor vs. Ash month. Oh yes. Is it possible for one music fan to like both? Pitted as bitter enemies last year with Tim’s request for everyone who hated Starsailor to raise their hands and then James’s weak comeback w/ dedicating “Good Souls” to Tim… wait i lost a punctuation mark there or something. Oh well. Scrap that. But what was I going to say? Oh yeah, something about how it seems to be over, if we’re to go by what James said at the Q Awards.. something about how he only threw a chip at tim and that was kinda the end of it all… I dunno. I don’t really think so.

What was my point? I forget… Ok.. so in honor of my inner conflict, I’m gonna start posting a daily bit about what band I like better for the day… because I feel like it.

Ash or Starsailor? Today, it’s Ash. Because Tim frolicked in a lake with Chris Martin up in Norway. And because I like winners, not losers. (Sorry SS fans… their day will come ’round, don’t worry)

OH MAN! Garbage finally does another headlining tour! (Who was I whining about this to litterally the other day????) The weird thing? They play Long Island but not NYC. Daaaamn.

What’s the deal with The Soundtrack of Our Lives ? Why do I have to keep hearing about these damn Swedish people? They play the Mercury Lounge March 12- while I’m out of country. So hipsters, lemmi know how it is because I’m gonna be out of the loop on this one.

I finally got around to looking at the new Interview and HOOOOOOooo… PAUL NICHOLLS IS IN IT?!? WTF? He was all primadona when I saw him last year. Him and his white high tops and acid wash jeans w/ ill-fitting sweatshirt. Boo. Also in the issue, MARK WEBBER (who we adore) and Phantom Planet. Oh yeah, and The Strokes. Duh.
