Michelle has gone to the dark side- she just admitted to me that she LOVES Ryan Adams.
Speaking of Ryan Adams, why did Ryan Gentles make it a point of mentioning the drunk during this Radio 1 interview with Albert and Nikolai after winning a Brit? Link from the Strokes.org bb.
I love this post off the SS bb: “spins pic of the band by gar_theclone (gar_es_loco@quickhosts.com) on 21-Feb-02
hey people- here is the deal my friends at school said i look a lot like JAMES WALSH I didn’t know who this was so i looked at the picture of the band that was in SPIN the magazine and sure enough i look alot like him.”
Also on the bb, Andrew Walsh is getting hitched tomorrow! Awww. Wonder if James will sing at the wedding.
Fun with mp3s: And if you didn’t hear it live… here’s an mp3 version of James Walsh singing S Club 7’s “Don’t Stop Movin’,” provided by Lumberg off of the SS bb. It’s low quality, but you get the idea.
Music of the moment: “Independent Women: Part I,” Elbow; “Don’t Stop Movin’,”James Walsh of Starsailor; “Don’t Stop Movin’, S Club 7
Yeah Bode Miller!
Hahaha. I just saw a commercial… Michael Pitt is in the new Sandra Bullock movie, Murder By Numbers.
On a Hedwig note, how GORGE is JCM? How the hell does he do it?
Elton John is wack. He just called the Stereophonics “quality artists.”
Web searches of the day: “Kylie is a lesbian,” “ben kweller gay”
The “Poor Misguided Fool” video is up on the Starsailor site. It’s kinda like… you know, all the other ones. Oh well. Thanks to Ben for pointing it out.

Today I got out of the door before 9AM. I went grocery shopping, I had breakfast at Veselka, I went to the post office, I got a haircut, I picked up Ash tickets. All before 2PM. Everyone I know fell off their chairs when they realized this. I’m freaking myself out- normal hours, productivity. It’s weird, man. I’m actually gonna do my Shakespeare reading.
I just woke up from a dream where I was at Radio City Music Hall and somehow I ended up getting tickets to Limp Bizkit. What the hell did I eat last night?
I know it’s kinda old hat, but check out this picture of Ryan Adams and Elton John from the “Answering Bell” videoshoot. Ryan Adams has skinnier legs than I do. *Cries*.
Check out today’s Red Tops and Broadsheets front pages from the UK.
In concert news…Detroit’s finest rock New York City’s Mercury Lounge: The Von Bondies and Soledad Brothers 27 April. They hit Jersey’s Maxwell’s 28 April.
I’m DYING for pancakes, french toast or waffles- and I’m actually up at the time restaurants would serve them!
