(Sorry they’re so blurry and not that many. The guards were being hard-asses about pictures. The one guard was threatening me, telling me it was a federal offense and made me erase all the pictures… oops. I guess I didn’t erase them.)

Obviously Gorillaz have learned that people do actually want to see the band playing, and everyone who was performing live was onstage. It was fun, even funtastic? The world famous Apollo theater is of course gorgeous, and it seems as though it’s been a bit refurbished since the last time I was there for The Strokes on December 30, 2001. [...]
